Status

Hala has four main statuses of the skill session: Completed, Current, Escaped, Error, andProcessing.

Status

Description

Completed

The skill was successfully executed by the users

Current

For example, the user asks something and then leave the conversation by closing the browser, or the user did not provide any message to the Hala response. It is the current session of the user that is not finished

Escaped

The status is showing that skill was started but for some reason not finished. For example, the user starts the conversation with Hala to reset the password and then ask to create a new purchase requisition by jumping to another skill. In other words, if the user in the middle of the Skill and then the user wants to start another Skill, you will see this status for the first skill. Also, this status can be triggered by the Refresh button in the chat interface

Error

System status shows you that something went wrong with the skill execution. It can be triggered because of the technical problem in connection with external application integration, or internal errors in Hala can trigger it. It will be assigned if other statuses not applicable

Processing

You will receive this status if you have started a skill, and according to the skill logic, you would need to get a response from the API. At the same time, you can begin another skill, and when the response from the API arrives at the previous skill will be completed. For example, you can use Hala workflow approval via email. Hala can send the email to the person with a request to approve or reject some action. So before this person approves or dismisses the action, your skill will have the status Processing. When the person will take action and provide the approve, then the skill will have the status Completed.
